THE NUTRILORDS BRAND WAS BORN FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF MAURICE TYRELL.
Nutrilords was created from Maurice Tyrell’s desire to share his knowledge and experience in sports nutrition with as many people as possible. Originally from Jamaica, Maurice became a personal trainer in Miami. In his pursuit of excellence, he discovered the world of nutrition, vitamins, and minerals, quickly recognizing their impact on his performance and energy levels.
For Maurice, sport and nutrition are both a routine and a philosophy. They are the source of the energy and positive mindset he shares with those around him.
A unique approach
Over the years the Tyrell brothers have developed a unique approach to Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) physical training.
This mode of training is based on efficiency and customer need.
Mario and Maurice have brought their experience in this field of electrostimulation from Munich to Miami and Lausanne.

Key moments in the birth of NUTRILORDS:
Maurice Tyrell holds a TCMA Nutrition Diploma from École TCMA in Switzerland, a recognized program in complementary nutrition accredited by ASCA. This training focuses on individualized and functional approaches to nutrition, emphasizing holistic support and tailored dietary strategies rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. It reinforces Maurice’s vision of nutrition as a practical, personalized tool to support balance, energy, and long-term performance, principles that are at the core of Nutrilords.
The meeting with Doctor Romain Martinez marked a key milestone in the development of Nutrilords. His medical perspective helped confirm the scientific soundness of the formulations, the quality of the ingredients used, as well as the overall coherence and synergy of the products.
A respected medical professional and accomplished athlete, Dr. Martinez holds a Doctor of Medicine degree. A former emergency physician, he practiced for many years in emergency medicine and mountain medicine in France.
Based in the canton of Fribourg since 2011, he now works in a general and family medicine practice, offering an integrated approach that includes laboratory services, digital radiology, and ultrasound imaging. He is also the Director and a founding member of the Edelweiss Clinic, and currently serves as Vice President of the Swiss Association of General Practitioners.
Etio-nutrition concept
Inspired by Etiopathy (from the Greek aitia, meaning cause, and pathos, meaning suffering), which promotes a systemic approach to the human body, Etio-nutrition is a term we created to precisely describe Maurice Tyrell’s approach to nutrition and well-being.
Etiopathy is based on the principle of causality applied to living systems, according to which identifying the root cause of a symptom makes it possible to treat it or enable the body to self-treat.
Maurice Tyrell adopts this causal approach and applies it to nutrition. Modern lifestyles often neglect high-quality nutrition, and many everyday symptoms (lack of energy, stress, weight gain, etc.) can be attributed to this imbalance.
Addressing nutritional deficiencies means addressing symptoms at their source.
Regular consumption of Nutrilords provides the body with the resources it needs to “self-correct” so-called minor symptoms, those that prevent us from reaching our full potential.
The right cocktail
The NUTRILORDS project was born out of discussions with customers who spoke of their nutritional deficiencies and recurring ailments such as fatigue, lack of sleep, joint pain, muscle recovery, hair loss, brittle nails and dietary imbalances.
Based on their experience, research and collaboration with healthcare professionals, the Tyrell brothers have developed amazing and varied formulations that aim to shape lasting results.
The Tyrell brothers began with the following observations:
- The dietary imbalance of many customers;
- The rhythm of professional life, lack of deep quality sleep, and just the stress of the daily fast pace world.
- Athletes puting much more strain on their body’s resulting for a need of a higher vitamin and mineral demand, without forgetting to modify protein and carbohydrate intakes.
